I am a student of nature, thoroughly engrossed in the symphony of wind and sun and water on the land, thoroughly fascinated by the colors and forms and how perfectly the parts fit and flow and work together through the seasons.

As I move through nature, I feel it wrap around me; my experience is a collage of sensory data too full for words, but I approach its expression with the botanical kaleidoscope images I call Nature Mandalas.

My deepest intention is to contribute to the beauty in this world. I am in love with symmetry and balance, especially the dynamic, changing balance that pulls the cycle forward. In life and art, I am never certain what new forms are going to take shape, never certain where I am going to be pulled, but I look forward to finding out.
